These X-rays don’t require chemical processing and can be saved on the computer for easy sharing with other providers. The move from traditional X-rays to digital has made the entire process faster and less costly than ever before.

Digital X-rays are easier to store, retrieve, and send because they display images almost immediately. They are also not subject to the risk of over- or under-exposure, which helps save both the dentist and patient time, since they won’t have to be retaken if they don’t develop properly.
